Keith discusses various traditions (mostly in the USA) that he feels are archaic and should be added to the trash heap of history. 
Not to mention some relatively harmless ones and everything in between.

4th of July
Halloween 
Christmas

Bad traditions

Extreme capitalism - 
American best country in the world
Saying the pledge of allegiance in schools
Singing national anthem at sporting events
Assuming that being anti military means anti enlisted men and women.
Don’t say gay law in the military 
The idea that nationalism is patriotism.
Schools not being free
School buses
Health care
Mental health considered a taboo and people go undiagnosed
And those that are are considered “mental” or “insane”

Alcohol being considered socially less harmful than weed

The idea that people have their bodies but also a soul.

Specific colours for girls and boys
The idea that boys will be boys which leads to sexual assault 
And men not learning boundaries with women
Traditional marriage is archaic. Polygamy, thruples, bisexual, gay, trans etc 
Should all be allowed to marry or have civil unions. 

Tipping - should be paid a living wage!

School buses

Asking parents hand in marriage

Other cultures
Arranged marriages
Woman clothing restrictions
(Some women are beaten, have battery acid 
Thrown at them and even killed for driving or not having a man present etc)

Silly traditions that don’t matter much
Imperial system and farenheit etc
Knife and fork etiquette
Writing in cursive in a modern digital age?
Saying bless you after a sneeze
Groundhog Day 
Turkey pardons
Back Friday online sales
